We work across semiconductors, edge devices, data infrastructure and energy synergistically. That reads as four businesses. It is one chain — power moves through silicon, becomes computation, and ends up in something you can hold.
The work predates the company
We have been building silicon, devices, and systems in Silicon Valley and in India since the early 2000s. Hardware-first is in our DNA.
We have built and exited two semiconductor companies, well before semiconductor companies became household names. Smartverse is an Indian holding company, founded in 2025, backed by Smartgroup, Inc., to continue that journey — building a layer for the "smart intelligence era."
Where the value has always been built
The mainframe era did it. The PC era did it. The smartphone era did it. We think the next "intelligence era" requires the next trillion-dollar companies to be vertically integrated — in silicon, in devices, and in the infrastructure and power beneath them.
We chose this layer deliberately, and we are building on a twenty-five-year clock.
Two countries, neither a satellite
For us, AI also stands for America and India. India is where this gets built at scale, and where the opportunity is largest. The United States is where much of this team learned the work, where our closest partners are, and where the market has always been. We build in both.
